| In this game, you play as Scithia Reiver, a Reaper. Something strange has happened, and the head
Reaper, Grim, has lost all of his Necro power. In turn, this has also nullified his Necro power
hold on the world, and now no one can exactly die; their bodies and organs can shut down, but
there souls are trapped in their body, giving a sort of near-brainless life. Demonstrating this,
something has happened to a high school, and nearly everyone's died of mysterious causes. Or
rather, they would be dead, if the Necro power hadn't been nullified. Now, everyone has turned
into zombies. Grim sends you out to investigate the school, armed with a Scythe, which seems to
be the only thing that still has Necro power, meaning it's the only thing that can still truly
kill in this world.
The story, and Reapers, are explained in more detail in the game. The goal of the game is to kill all the zombies in the room to progress. Each room is a small battle arena type level. You have various attacks, some that toss around enemies like ragdolls into the many destructible objects. Breaking stuff does more damage. A small number of people who have tried my games say they get an unexpected error, and can't run it. This doesn't happen often, and I don't know what the cause is. Since it only happens to a few people, and not everyone, it's hard to know what it is; I've never gotten it myself. But these are the system requirements to run Game Maker 6 (the program I use to make games), so maybe they're the same requirements to run a Game Maker GAME too. So read over this before you download. My guess for the people that get the unexpected error is that they're not running a Windows computer. |
"Game Maker runs on the Windows platform, versions 98 SE, 2000, ME, XP (and later). It does require a DirectX 8 or higher compatible graphics graphics card with at least 16MB of video memory (preferably 32 MB or more). Also a DirectX 8 or higher compatible sound card is required. DirectX version 8.0 or later is required." Make sure you read the textfile "IMPORTANT-Read before playing" BEFORE YOU START THE GAME. Hence the title. And be sure to read the help screen in the game. There are a number of moves, and their controls aren't all very obvious. This game is rated T for Teen, by me! It has animated violence, animated blood, and mild language.
